Veronica Benson brings veteran backcourt stability and efficient scoring to Southeast Missouri State
In the 2000-01 season, Veronica Benson was a returning senior guard who started all 27 games, ranked second on the team in scoring at 12.1 points per game, and shot 50.8% from the field[1]. Her value goes beyond the box score: she logged the most minutes on the team, was a four-time OVC Newcomer of the Week, and drew praise for her speed, scoring touch, and defensive presence in the backcourt[1]. If you want a dependable, two-way guard who plays fast and competes hard, she’s the kind of player coaches love.
