High-upside interior DL with proven production and versatility
Afalava profiles as a tough, disruptive defensive lineman with a history of production in high school and strong multi-school interest, but he has not yet logged meaningful game action for San Diego State after redshirting in 2024. Recruiting profiles and roster listings show a big frame at roughly 6-2 to 6-3 and 280-285 pounds, while his prep résumé included 67 career tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks across 21 games, plus team-captain leadership in 2022. He is the kind of developmental DL who fits a physical front and could become valuable if his strength and technique translate to the college level.
