Eddie Werse brings a lefty look and real strike-throwing potential to the Aggies
Eddie Werse is a left-handed pitcher whose profile is built around deception, left-on-left value, and development upside rather than loud velocity; he was listed as a 6-foot lefty with an 86–87 mph fastball in recruiting coverage, and his college track record includes a 2025 season at NJIT with a 6.00 ERA, 33.0 innings, 34 strikeouts, and 12 walks, plus an outing where he earned a win with 3.1 scoreless innings against Sam Houston. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a competitive arm who can miss bats and change looks, though the jump to a higher level will hinge on whether the stuff tightens up and the command keeps trending forward.
