a linebacker name to watch in Savannah State’s 2026 mix
Perris Loatman is listed with Savannah State’s football program as a linebacker, but current public stat sheets and roster data don’t surface enough game-by-game production to grade him cleanly yet. What stands out is the simple fit: if he’s carving out snaps at LB, the Tigers likely value him for the usual linebacker essentials—physicality, downhill triggering, and the kind of tone-setting presence that shows up more on film than in box-score chatter. In other words, this is a player worth tracking as role and usage become clearer in the 2026 season.
