Jack Cowling brings a big-bodied righty profile to Evansville’s 2026 staff
Cowling is a 6-foot-7, 205-pound freshman right-hander for Evansville in the 2026 season, which gives him immediate intrigue as a power-leaning arm with downhill angle and projection[2]. He was listed on the Purple Aces’ 2026 roster out of North Point HS in Foristell, Missouri, and his pre-college profile signals upside more than polish right now[1][3]. If a staff wants a developing starter or long-relief weapon with frame-based upside, he’s the kind of arm worth tracking; the key question is how quickly the stuff and command catch up to the physical tools[1][3].
