Wichita State’s Intense 6’3” RHP with Elite Max Velo and 3.7 GPA Drive
Ayden Benson, a 21-year-old right-handed pitcher for Wichita State Shockers, stands out with a 6’3”, 210-lb frame, elite max fastball velocity of 85.2 mph (recorded 7/13/21), and a 3.7 GPA, reflecting his intensity and discipline. Though his 2026 stats show a 6.00 ERA in limited innings, his differentiators include athleticism, a taller medium build, and a redshirt junior status with strong academic focus. He’s in the transfer portal, seeking a team that values intensity, intelligence, and raw pitching potential. Ideal for teams needing a high-intensity, smart RHP with room to grow and a proven work ethic.
