veteran, detail-driven Sun Devil defensive back with a technician’s edge
Darien Cornay’s profile at Arizona State describes him as a tenacious, athletically gifted JUCO transfer with excellent body positioning, advanced technique, and strong preparation habits—traits that matter for a DB who wins with instincts and discipline, not just highlight speed. In his 2018 season, he appeared in 11 games and contributed on special teams, which suggests a reliable, team-first role player with experience and versatility. He was also part of ASU’s 2019 senior class, so this is a veteran presence more than a rising unknown.
