Tall, Athletic DB with Proven Tackling Pedigree from JUCO to FCS
Diamonte Wiggins, a 6-2, 164-lb cornerback from Lynwood HS (Class of 2012), signed with Eastern Washington Eagles but redshirted in 2012 and saw limited reserve action in 2013; he later thrived at Golden West CC (15 tackles, 1 PBU in 9 games) before transferring to Tarleton State, earning Wave Newspapers first-team All-East Region honors as a DB. His length, speed (5.06 40-yard dash), and ball skills make him a physical press corner ideal for man coverage, though lighter frame suggests bulk-up potential—perfect fit for teams needing versatile, high-motor DBs in zone-heavy schemes.
