Joseph Zammitti brings freshman infield depth and upside to Hofstra
Joseph Zammitti entered Hofstra in 2026 as a 5-foot-11, 195-pound freshman infielder from Monroe Township, N.J., and his value is tied to versatility, not just box-score noise. Hofstra listed him on its 2026 roster, but the program’s 2026 cumulative stats show only limited game action so far, so the evaluation leans more on projection than production. What stands out is a right-handed utility profile, academic recognition, and the kind of multi-position flexibility that can earn trust quickly if his bat catches up.
