Ryan Novakowski brings JUCO-tested strikeout stuff to Alabama State’s rotation picture
In the 2025 season at Lackawanna College, Ryan Novakowski went 3-1 with one complete game and 20 strikeouts in 23.0 innings, showing a right-handed starter’s profile built on competitiveness and enough miss bats to matter. He arrives at Alabama State as a 6-foot-2, 205-pound junior with a Pennsylvania pedigree and a résumé that says “track record,” not mystery box. The fit is intriguing if you want a sturdy arm who has already handled starting work and brings some toughness; the upside comes from turning that JUCO efficiency into more consistent command against SWAC lineups.
