low-usage Billikens guard with solid perimeter touch and role-player value
Eckerle is a Saint Louis guard whose value comes more from fit than flash: ESPN lists him at 3.0 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game with 36.7% shooting, suggesting a compact, low-usage contributor who can stay within a system.[1] His Billikens background also points to a reliable perimeter-minded profile—he was originally recruited as a guard and previously arrived with a reputation as a high-level shooter in high school.[4][6] If you need a steady, team-first backcourt piece rather than a high-creation scorer, he reads as a useful depth option.[1][4]
