Nick Rutherford Brings Senior-Guard Stability, Playmaking, and Defensive Grit to St. John’s
Rutherford profiles as a steady, mature guard who can organize an offense, handle the ball, and chip in across the box score: in St. John’s most recent listed season he played all 32 games, made 23 starts, and averaged 5.5 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.4 rebounds, while earlier career data shows a broader all-around impact with Monmouth, where he finished second on the team in assists and led the team in steals. He is the kind of connector who fits winning teams because he brings experience, toughness, and defensive activity more than pure scoring volume.
