T.J. McCord brings ball-hawking impact to Grambling State’s secondary
T.J. McCord is a proven playmaker at safety for Grambling State, and his standout trait is interception production: ESPN lists him with **6 interceptions** along with **6 solo tackles**, signaling strong ball skills and range in coverage[1]. He was also recognized on the **2024 SWAC All-Second Team defense**, which adds context that his impact is respected beyond box-score numbers[2]. For a team, he profiles as a smart, opportunistic defensive back who can create turnovers and elevate back-end reliability.
