Reliable WVU Veteran Guard with Proven Starting Grit
James Gmiter, a 6'3", 315-pound left guard for West Virginia, started all 13 games in 2021 (953 snaps) and appeared in 39 career games, showcasing battle-tested reliability on the offensive line. His 2019 PFF grades (65.8 overall, 73.5 pass blocking) highlight solid protection skills, while high school two-way dominance as a Pennsylvania All-State DL adds rare athletic versatility. A vocal leader helping elevate WVU's O-line, Gmiter's intensity and experience make him a low-risk, plug-and-play fit for teams needing steady trench warfare—ideal for run-heavy schemes.
