LSU kicker Trey Finison brings proven kickoff leg and transfer depth to the Tigers
Trey Finison enters LSU in 2026 as a graduate-student placekicker with a proven kickoff profile from Northwestern, where he played in all 12 games as a true first-year and averaged 58.7 yards on 33 kickoffs in 2021. His value is more about reliability and leg strength than flash: LSU has described him as a talented transfer competing for a critical kicking role, which makes him a meaningful depth piece in a high-pressure special-teams room.
