Derrick Gore brings efficient, low-risk veteran depth to the backfield
Derrick Gore is a compact, physical RB whose value has come from efficient touches and versatility rather than volume: in his NFL career through the 2023 season, he posted 282 rushing yards on 54 carries (5.2 per carry) and added 105 receiving yards, with no fumbles recorded in the cited stat lines. He offers a proven burst element—highlighted by a 51-yard rushing score with Kansas City—and looks best as a rotational back or special-package fit, especially for a team that wants reliability, quick acceleration, and a player who has already shown he can produce in limited snaps.
