Louisville’s big-play, dual-threat back with real burst
In his Louisville career, Bilal Powell was the kind of back defenses had to account for on every snap: he totaled 2,338 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns for the Cardinals, including a breakout 2010 season with 1,405 yards and 11 scores on 229 carries. He fit especially well as a one-cut runner with home-run burst and reliable hands out of the backfield, which made him more than just a grinder. If you want a back who can create chunk plays and stay dangerous in space, he’s your guy.
