Darius Harper brings playmaking DB instincts and proven ball skills to Tennessee State
In the 2023 season at Tennessee State, Darius Harper showed real defensive-back value: he started eight games at corner, logged 17 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 3 pass breakups. That production points to a player with good coverage instincts and a knack for making plays on the ball, not just a tackler. He’s the kind of DB who can tilt a game with timely turnovers and steady outside coverage, making him a fit for teams that value disciplined corners with some playmaking juice.
