Long, explosive WR with upside, but current SJSU production is still limited
In the most recent available college data, Taariq Johnson has appeared in San José State’s offense but has only 1 catch for 0 yards and 0 touchdowns listed on ESPN, so he’s still more of a developmental piece than a proven producer. What stands out is his size and frame—247Sports lists him at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds—which gives him the classic jump-ball and red-zone profile teams love. He was a productive high school receiver, catching 27 passes for 407 yards and 4 TDs as a senior, so the tools are there; the question is whether he can translate that upside into consistent on-field impact.
