Marquez Beason brings proven blue-chip athleticism and a comeback arc to East Texas A&M
Beason is a former four-star, Under Armour All-American defensive back who still profiles as a high-ceiling athlete: explosive enough to be recruited nationally, versatile enough to have been tried at receiver, and experienced in overcoming an ACL injury that delayed his early college development.[9][12][10] His current East Texas A&M stat line is limited, so the bigger story is upside—he has track speed, coverage pedigree, and the kind of competitive background that can raise a secondary’s athletic floor if he stays healthy and fully settles into a DB role.[8][14][2]
