Troy Grant’s ball-hawking résumé gives Tennessee Tech a real back-end difference-maker
In the 2026 context available, Troy Grant stands out as a senior Tennessee Tech defensive back with a knack for game-changing plays: he has 6 career games, 2 interceptions, 58 interception return yards, and 1 pick-six, with one source noting he ranked 7th among FCS DBs in interception touchdowns. He looks like a true “fit” player for a team needing instincts, urgency, and turnover juice rather than just steady coverage. The catch: public 2026 performance detail is thin, so the strongest case is his proven splash-play ability and veteran profile.
