Nia Washington brings steady backcourt production for UNC Asheville
Nia Washington is a veteran guard whose game is defined more by poise and versatility than flash: ESPN listed her at 1.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game in the 2024-25 season, with a 21.9 field-goal percentage[1]. That box score line does not capture her usefulness as a depth guard who understands structure, competes on the defensive end, and fits a team that needs reliable floor awareness more than a volume scorer[1][7]. If your team wants a low-drama, hard-nosed guard who can absorb minutes and keep the game organized, she makes sense; if you need a high-usage creator, this is not that profile[1].
