7-foot Portland anchor with real touch, but limited recent college runway
Silveira brings rare size at 7-foot and 255 pounds, and in the 2021-22 season at Portland he flashed efficient interior scoring, including a 13-point career best and a .570 field-goal percentage over 27 appearances. He looks like a paint-first center who can finish what’s given to him, but his recent college footprint is thin, so the big question is health and re-entry consistency after a long gap from the Pilots’ active rotation. If you need a true rim-sized body with some touch, he’s intriguing; if you need high-volume production right now, the sample says caution.
