Liberty’s depth-piece defensive tackle with roster upside
Tim Ayer is listed on Liberty’s football roster as a defensive lineman/DT, but publicly available 2026 game-by-game production and stat-leader data are not readily visible, so his impact should be evaluated more through role and roster context than box-score splash. The key takeaway: he profiles as a trench player whose value would come from leverage, toughness, and interior depth—exactly the kind of under-the-radar piece coaches love if he wins reps in camp. If you need an immediate stat-stuffer, he may not be the headline grab; if you need a developmental interior defender with room to grow, he’s worth a closer look.
