Trey Butkowski looks like Michigan’s answer at kicker — reliable, ranked, and already battle-tested
In the 2025 season at Pitt, Trey Butkowski hit 19-of-22 field goals and 41-of-42 extra points, earned Second-Team All-ACC honors, and even showed range with a 47-yard long, which is exactly the kind of steady leg Michigan wanted in the transfer portal. He was a top-10 kicker recruit in the 2025 class and is expected to be Michigan’s starter in 2026, with reports noting he has settled in and is kicking his best right now. If your team values consistency, calm under pressure, and a proven floor, he’s a strong fit.
