Reed’s value comes from being a physical, team-first frontcourt piece who has already shown he can rebound and finish efficiently in stretches: in 2024-25 at Tulsa, he averaged 3.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 27 games (five starts), after posting 4.5 points and 4.2 rebounds as a freshman in 2023-24. His current production is modest, but his strengths are toughness, board work, and workable scoring touch around the rim; the downside is that his perimeter shooting has been inconsistent, so he fits best as a role big who can compete, screen, and clean up possessions rather than carry usage.
