CSUN's High-Intensity LHP with Elite High School Pedigree and Multi-Arm-Speed Arsenal
Reef Sharman, a 6'2" LHP for Cal State Northridge, stands out not just for his career-high school 1.43 ERA and 170 strikeouts, but for his relentless intensity and a rare four-pitch arsenal (4SFB, SNK, CH, CB, SL) featuring multiple arm speeds (87-88mph fastball, 70-73mph CB). As a transfer freshman, he brings a proven opponent .165 batting average suppression and a competitive mindset that elevates team defense. While his 2026 batting stats (.400) reflect his offensive versatility, his true differentiator is the psychological pressure he applies to hitters, making him an ideal fit for teams needing a high-stakes, injury-resilient lefty who thrives under pressure.
