Murray State’s steady long-snapper: Spencer Gooch brings special-teams reliability
Spencer Gooch is listed by Murray State as a redshirt freshman long snapper at 5-foot-11, 240 pounds, and his value is built on the kind of special-teams dependability that rarely shows up in box scores.[1] His high school résumé includes back-to-back district titles and all-district honors as a junior and senior, which points to a player with consistency, toughness, and winning-program habits.[1] He’s the type of low-drama, high-trust roster fit every coach wants on field goals and punts.
