Quick-trigger senior guard who lifted Syracuse in big moments
John Gillon was a high-impact graduate transfer for Syracuse in the 2016-17 season, leading the Orange in assists at 5.4 per game and showing he could swing outcomes when he scored in double figures, including a famous buzzer-beater against Duke. His value goes beyond box scores: he brought poise, shot-making, and late-game confidence from his prior stops at Little Rock and Colorado State, plus the toughness to thrive in pressure. If you need a steady, experienced guard who can create for others and deliver in clutch moments, Gillon fit the bill.
