Maurice Brown brings shot-making juice and versatile wing scoring to UIC
Brown stands out as a multi-level scorer with a scorer’s mentality: he can create his own jumper, punish closeouts, finish above the rim, and contribute on the glass while staying active in transition. Evaluators describe him as a strong finisher with good IQ, solid defense, and a good work ethic, which matters for a team that wants a reliable offensive option who doesn’t need heavy scheme help to impact the game. The fit question is simple: if UIC needs perimeter size, pace, and shot creation with competitive edge, Brown looks like a natural fit.
