Latvian guard brings veteran size, pace control, and steady all-around production
Liga Alpe-Luka is a 5-10 senior guard who has been a long-running Siena program presence, and the value here is steadiness: in the 2026 FIBA data available for Latvia, she averaged 5.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, suggesting a low-drama, do-a-bit-of-everything backcourt piece rather than a pure volume scorer[1][5]. Her differentiator is veteran guard polish—good enough to contribute across multiple categories and experienced enough to fit a team that wants maturity, ball security, and a player who knows her role without needing the ball to be the show[1][5].
