UNLV's Intense Sophomore Guard with 13 PPG Scoring Surge
Efrem Lawrence, a Norfolk, VA native playing for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels, is a sophomore guard who averaged 13 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in the 2025-26 season, marking his second year in the program. His differentiator is an elite intensity level and a fearless scoring mentality that elevates him beyond raw stats; he plays with a relentless, high-energy personality that energizes teammates and pressures defenses. While he has no significant injury history, his 25% career field goal percentage in limited appearances suggests he is still refining consistency, yet his 13 PPG sophomore output proves he can deliver when trusted. He is a strong fit for teams needing a high-intensity, scoring-oriented guard who brings emotional fire and can grow into a leadership role, especially in a program like UNLV with a .687 winning percentage in Division I history.
