Purdue's Versatile Finance Major Linebacker Fighting Back from Injury
Will Chapman is a 6-0, 200-pound outside linebacker from Indianapolis who brings both athletic versatility and academic rigor to Purdue's defense. A Finance major with Academic All-Big Ten honors (2021), Chapman demonstrates the discipline and intelligence valued in modern defensive schemes. However, his limited game action—just one tackle in a 2021 debut against Tennessee—combined with injury setbacks, means he remains a developmental prospect. Best suited for programs prioritizing character, academic achievement, and long-term potential over immediate production.
