Reid Sealby brings veteran, captain-level edge to SIU’s offensive line
Reid Sealby is a seasoned Southern Illinois lineman whose value goes beyond size and snaps: he’s a former team captain, an Iowa transfer, and a multi-year starter who helped anchor SIU’s offense during a run when the Salukis were producing top-tier MVFC passing and total-offense numbers. In the 2016 season, SIU’s line helped the team rank second in the MVFC in scoring and total offense, while Sealby’s own reputation centered on toughness, football IQ, and wrestling-built leverage—exactly the kind of gritty, reliable OL profile coaches love.
