High-motor, downhill linebacker who brings instincts and splash plays
Chance Campbell, a former Ole Miss linebacker and 2022 sixth-round NFL pick, stood out in the 2021 season with 12.5 tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries, showing disruptive instincts, pursuit speed, and a relentless motor. Evaluators liked his quick diagnosis, active play style, and ability to track the ball, but also flagged coverage inconsistency and a tendency to overpursue. In short: he’s the kind of aggressive, effort-first defender who can create chaos near the ball, but fit matters if your scheme asks for clean coverage discipline and heavy box thumping.
