Hudson Barrett looks like a rotation-caliber lefty with swing-and-miss stuff and big rebound upside
In the 2026 season, Hudson Barrett gave Oklahoma State a strong transfer boost, posting a 2.58 ERA with 64 strikeouts in 45.1 innings over 13 appearances, including nine starts, before being selected by the Rockies in the 8th round of the 2026 MLB Draft. He’s a 6-foot-5 left-hander with a proven strikeout track record, plus prior injury baggage that makes the rebound even more impressive: after Tommy John surgery, he returned to show front-line starter traits and bat-missing potential. If your team wants a high-upside southpaw with real pitchability and toughness, he fits the bill.
