Aggressive Stony Brook DB with a physical edge
Zedrick Gardner is listed by Stony Brook as a defensive back and was described in team coverage as valuing an aggressive, fast-playing defense—a good sign for a DB who has to trigger downhill and compete at the catch point. Publicly available current stats are limited, so the bigger takeaway is his profile: a physical, defense-first player whose fit depends on whether a team wants toughness and urgency over flash. If you need a tone-setter in the secondary, Gardner’s style should be appealing.
