Steady, pass-first guard who brings veteran poise
Kyle Lofton is a reliable lead guard whose calling card is playmaking, control, and high-end experience; in his 2021-22 college season, he averaged 12.8 points and 5.9 assists per game, ranking among the NCAA’s better distributors and earning third-team All-Atlantic 10 honors. He is the kind of guard who should help an offense stay organized, limit mistakes, and create for others, even if he is not a pure volume scorer. For a team, Lofton fits best as a composed floor general who raises the collective IQ of the backcourt.
