Terry Winn III brings veteran, double-double upside and physical rebounding to UTRGV
Winn is a proven, rugged frontcourt presence who has shown he can score efficiently, rebound at a high level, and do a little of everything for his team; in his 2023-24 pro stint he averaged 14.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steal per game, and earlier reports from UTRGV noted he was a Conference USA All-Freshman selection who kept improving as the season went on and finished with a 21-point, 11-rebound game at UTEP. He looks like a good fit for teams that need toughness, interior production, and a reliable glue guy rather than a high-usage shot creator.[5][6]
