Versatile Northern Colorado leg with real punting pop
Mason Puckett has been a multi-role weapon for Northern Colorado, handling kicking and punting duties and showing boom-or-bust leg strength that can flip field position in a hurry. In a 2012 spring game, he averaged 60.5 yards on four punts, and game logs from that season show a 65-yard kickoff and punts with a long of 67, hinting at serious power. The fit question is simple: if you want a specialist who can help in both the kick and punt game, Puckett offers versatility and big-leg upside, though consistency is the key separator.
