Chernet Estes is Utah Tech’s steady WR depth piece with room to pop
In the 2024 season, Chernet Estes saw action in all 12 games for Utah Tech, logging 10 catches for 126 yards and a season-best 44 yards against Abilene Christian, which points to a receiver who can earn trust and flash when given opportunities. He’s a 6-foot, 194-pound redshirt junior with the kind of culture-fit praise coaches love, and the current depth-chart buzz suggests he’s a useful slot/rotation option rather than a headline star. If you want reliable hands, size, and a player who seems coachable and team-first, he’s worth a look.
