Abilene Christian DB with Elite Size and Redshirt Grit
Mike Garrett Jr. (6-1, 190 lbs) is a standout Defensive Back for the Abilene Christian Wildcats, differentiating himself with rare size for a DB and a redshirt journey that forged intense mental grit after transferring from Blinn College. While his 2024 game log shows just 1 tackle and 0 interceptions, his true value lies in his coverage instincts, physical intensity, and reliability in high-pressure situations—traits that don’t always appear in stats. He’s injury-free, fiercely competitive, and a perfect fit for teams needing a big, smart DB who can shut down receivers and support run defense. Care about him because he’s the quiet leader who elevates the entire secondary with presence and preparation.
