Christopher Gist brings early strikeout punch to La Salle’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, freshman right-hander Christopher Gist has shown a quick strikeout edge and calm relief work for La Salle, with multiple scoreless outings early in the year and five strikeouts across five innings in seven appearances. He flashed immediate poise in his collegiate debut and has already shown he can miss bats, but he’s still building consistency after some tougher results against elite lineups. For a team looking for a young arm with upside, competitive mound presence, and room to grow, Gist looks like a useful bullpen bet.
