Latifa Northern brings veteran UTSA backcourt grit and steady all-around production
Latifa Northern is a seasoned UTSA guard whose career profile points to reliable all-around value rather than flashy volume: Sports-Reference lists her career at 109 games with 6.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, and fan-tracking data shows she has also contributed 1.5 steals per game, a nice tell for her defensive edge[1][3]. Her appeal is the combo of experience, toughness, and two-way disruption—exactly the kind of player who can stabilize a lineup, pressure the ball, and do a little bit of everything without needing the offense to run through her.
