Brett Royster brings Florida Atlantic a proven defensive anchor with rebounding punch
Royster’s value comes from his **rim protection**, **rebounding**, and high-effort interior play; in his FAU career he was known for blocking shots at a school-record pace and earning conference defensive honors, while also adding efficient scoring around the basket. He fits best on a team that wants a physical frontcourt player who can change possessions without needing the offense run through him. The catch: his profile has historically been more defense-first than volume scoring, so his fit is strongest if you want toughness, discipline, and paint presence over shot-creation.[3][4]
