a defensive-minded UMES guard with limited public stat detail
Shonda Davis is listed as a guard for Maryland Eastern Shore, but the available public team and roster sources do not provide enough verified season-by-season statistics or scouting detail to make a strong performance read. Based on the program context, he profiles as a rotational backcourt piece rather than a clear featured scorer, so the real value question is whether he brings dependable guard defense, pace, and low-mistake play to a team that has struggled offensively in 2025-26. For a staff looking for a proven statistical standout, the current public evidence is thin; for a team needing depth and energy, he may still be worth monitoring.
