Lance Mudd is a former Poway High standout who arrived at Cal Poly with a profile built on production and versatility: in high school he rushed for 420 yards and nine touchdowns while also catching nine passes for 103 yards, and earlier he topped 500 rushing yards in a season before a broken arm cut that junior year short.
