Monmouth Legend Turned Coach with Elite Scoring Pedigree
Jewonda Bright, a standout center for the Monmouth Hawks from 2001-04, retired with 1,121 career points (7th all-time) and 569 rebounds (10th all-time) in just three seasons, showcasing her dominant post presence and efficiency. Now a respected assistant coach since at least 2007, her playing intensity and basketball IQ make her a program pillar—evident in her NWBL pro stint and MAAC Honor Roll nod. Care because she's the Hawks' blueprint for toughness; a proven fit for teams seeking veteran leadership and rebounding grit in coaching or recruitment.
