Mamadou Seck brings efficient scoring and two-way grit to Southern Illinois
Seck is coming off a solid Southern Illinois season, ranking 15th in the MVC in scoring (10.8 ppg), 4th in field-goal percentage (.493) and 12th in steals (1.0 spg), while scoring in double figures 21 times and delivering a game-winner versus Green Bay.[2] What makes him appealing is the blend of efficiency, toughness and timely shot-making: he can score without forcing volume, impact possessions defensively, and handle pressure moments. For a team looking for a reliable, competitive forward who can contribute on both ends without needing the offense built around him, he fits well.[2]
