All-SoCon kicker with a proven big-leg profile
Ben Shrewsbury is a high-impact special teams weapon for VMI, earning 2025 All-SoCon First Team honors and recognition as an AFCA/Augusta Sports Council All-American finalist, plus Virginia’s Touchdown Club Specialist of the Year.[3] He also drew SoCon Special Teams Player of the Week attention after a standout game against Chattanooga with two field goals.[2] His profile points to a reliable specialist with range and composure under pressure, and his MaxPreps high school data showed a 55-yard long field goal, reinforcing that his value goes beyond routine extra points.[1][3]
